Microsoft has launched ION hosting (beta) on Bitcoin mainnet, and new verifiable credentials service (private preview) on Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). Run ION (Sidetree), Decentralized Identifier (DID) Network
ION is built on the top of Sidetree for decentralized identifier (DID) network. Sidetree is a blockchain-agnostic protocol and has multiple reference implementations for a variety of blockchains, such as, Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. ION is one of such implementations, which runs on Bitcoin blockchain.
